Moola can be called a gambling site. But don’t worry, you don’t spend any of your money. It is fast becoming one of the most popular sites to earn money by playing games because…you can earn up to 10 million! Plus, Moola is completely free to play.

Moola works like this :-

There are 30 leves on the virtual “Moola Tower”. Moola, supported by sponsors, gives you the first penny free. You compete with another player who has also 1 penny on the first level of the Moola tower. If you win, you get his penny. And the loser starts over. So, you get $0.02. Now, you play on Level 2. If you win, you get $0.04. Each level works the same way, going like this - $0.01, $0.02, $0.04, $0.08, $0.16, $0.32, $0.64, $1.28, $2.56, $5.12, $10.24, $20.42…till the 30th level which is $10,737,418.24.

Before you play each game, you have to view an advertisement, and answer a question related to it. Only if you answer it correctly, you will be able to play. This gives the advertisers, who sponsor Moola, the assurance that their ads are watched.

Even if you lose everything, Moola provides the free penny again.

Moola has 3 games currently. Hi/Lo, Ro-Sham-Bo-Fu and Gold Rush.

• Hi/Lo is a card game, where the player who reveals the most cars in losing the least amount of lives wins. It works in this way : Both players start with the 2 of hearts. You have to guess whether the next card will be higher or lower. If you guess correctly, the next card is revealed. If your guess is wrong, you fall back to the first, plus you lose one life. You can also “lock” in your progress. This costs one life, but the next time you guess wrong, you will fall back to the place where you locked last. There is a 15 second bid clock. This is my favourite game.
• Ro-Sham-Bo-Fu is the classic Rock Paper Scissors with a slight twist. You and your opponent compete in short six rounds, and at each round the Sensei awards a certain number of belt stripes to the winner. But, the twist is that the Sensei also announces a bonus for NOT choosing a certain object. At the end of six rounds, those who have the most number of belt stripes win. There is a 20 second time limit.
• Gold Rush is a strategy game, where you have to win the last six gold nuggets in the town, weighing 1 to 6lbs, with your own six nuggets of the same weight. There are six rounds, and at the start of each round one gold nugget will be randomly dropped in the middle of a scale. You must outbid your opponent by trying to tip the scale in your favour. That is, for example, if the random gold nugget thrown is 4, you bid 3, and your opponent bids 2, you get the whole lot, 9lbs. After 6 rounds, the one who has most gold(or the one who reaches 32 points) wins. Here also, there is a 20 second bid clock.

For cashing out(the current option is check; Paypal is in the works), you need at least $10.00 Although it is always wise not to cash out the moment you hit 10, it will be hard to start all over again. Moola is currently limited to US/Canada, except Louisiana, Nevada and Quebec. International players can play and get money, but can only cash out when the international version is out. But don’t worry; it may be out soon. I am an international player.

You can also get money when you refer your friends. The referral network is four tiers - your friends, your friends’ friends, their friends, and their friends. For the first tier, the referral bonus is 4%, the second tier 3%, third tier 2%, and the last tier, 1%. You get bonuses whenever your referrals get a bonus, or when they cash out.

• Search and Win is a sort of creative way for earning money, and it doesn’t cost a cent to use it. You get a booster wheel on random searches that you perform. The wheel has amounts from $0.01 to $9000. You are guaranteed at least one spin per day, so you can get a nice little bonus each day, even if it is 1 cent.
